Blindfold Challenge

Guess what our hapu did today! We played a game and we called it…..THE BLINDFOLD GAME!

My experience was ok…. I mean at least I had fun! The first thing we did was go walk to the library and we sat down on the big may area. Miss Lavakula told us to buddy up and my buddy was my bff, Tammy! I chose Tammy because I trusted her and she trusts me hehe!

In the library we got blindfolded and every-one was included! I asked tammu if I could be her partner. Tammy got blindfolded first because she was begging about it. So I let her because I’m nice and I should be grateful because its my birthday on Nov 4!! When I leaded her around the library  but instead, I was so close to getting her outside and it was hilarious!! Then Miss Lavakula told us to switch over and Tammy helped me to put the blindfold on. When I wore it, it was pitch black like I couldn't see a single thing only black! I bumped into a few people, but I forgot who I bumped into tho….

My experience felt weird but it was fun. It felt weird because I had to walk without seeing and it felt fun because we got blindfolded and Morrow and Moopanar hapu did not participate!

Recount:New Playground

Today Lavakula’s Hapu went to the new playground the first ting I went to was this area that looked like a dinner table. It had four seats and the wood was a dark orange colour. We we went there because to describe it. I felt very happy, like the happiest girl in the world!! I pretended to play tea time with  my friend Tammy!

The texture of the dinner table was like a type of wood. (I’m guessing its called Birch wood) It looked really heavy, Heavier then Me! The length looked tall.

Another thing I also saw was the pirate ship wheel with this kind of pipe and water came out of it. It lead to a holding thing and it hold water. When you push it up it released the water. The water goes to the sand. People make a sand pit/lake for the water to come in.

My Holiday's! =D

In the holidays I went to my cousin Roza, David and Harris house, they live in a mansion! One of my cousins wanted to make fire so we did. We used a microscope and some paper.

Then we went on the balcony and with the help of the sun we made a little fire! Another thing we did was baking!! Me, Joanne and two of my cousins baked…. Choc chip cookies!! After making those cookies, I ate them with ice-cream and the cookies tasted soo burnt! “O M G” said Jenny

Another thing Me, Joanne and my cousins did was play some Minecraft. In one of my cousins Harris, his world is called…. Town 2.0. We were role playing and diamonds on Minecraft PE was money for us. We all were in survival mode. Joanne was in her Minecraft world decorating her house, It is sooo CRAZY!!! She also made an animal farm and chicken farm. The chicken was behind her Minecraft house and her animal farm was next to my Minecarft house. But in the online/virtual world! But David couldnt play, he played ROBLOX!

I felt sooo happy because it was sooo fun!

Uniforms At School

Yes or No = No

I think we should not have uniforms at school because you might see something you really like to wear in your closet and it could even say your name. Example: It would say… Jenny.

Another reason why I think we should not have uniforms at school is because its colorful and beautiful. Uniforms might be dull and boring. The uniform could be black but you want to wear the color yellow.

In Maths, we have been learning about Fractions. We know that fractions are a part or piece of a whole. We have been learning to identify fractions of shapes and numbers. When trying to solve fractions of numbers, we have been using our knowledge of multiplication and division to justify our answers.

Jenny is developing her capabilities by solving fraction problems using her knowledge of multiplication and division facts. She works collaboratively and listens carefully to others share their ideas. During small group teaching, Jenny will ask questions and offer her ideas also. Jenny thinks about her ideas and will happily share her thinking with others. She is beginning to solve harder problems using what she knows about basic fractions.

How a spider creates its web.

The spider dangles a silky thread and the spider waits for the wind to carry it to a branch. Then it makes a V then Y. Next the spider makes a spiral.

After making a spiral it repeats, but makes it even bigger. Then it waits for its prey/fly to come get stuck to the spider can eats it’s food.
